so....heyyyy. I'm at Governor's School for the Arts being a Theatre counselor. it's been pretty cool so far. the kids got here yesterday. It's been pretty much just meetings and meetings...but yesterday we got to meet the kids and faculty and start getting to know each other. =) today I got to sit in on the tech kids meeting...the costume designer and scene designer did a portfolio review with each of the kids and then gave a bunch of tips on creating a good portfolio, which was really helpful (since I'm bad and don't actually have a portfolio put together right now). in the morning I get to help clean up the costume shop and then teach the kids some sewing. =) SUPER excited. they have a fantastic costume shop. for real. =)
